Leopoldo Iribarren is a lecturer at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris. Before joining the EHESS, he was a Fellow at the Harvard Center for Hellenic Studies, then a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow. He taught at the University of Leiden, in the Netherlands, where he wrote a book on the functions of technical analogy in archaic Greek thought. His research focuses mainly on the philosophy of ancient and modern technology.
