Gabriela Bezerra de Melo Daly is a social anthropologist, trained in ethology and primatology. She is fascinated by the social and cultural life of humans and primates, especially when they interact. She holds a binational master's degree in Social Studies of Science (Germany-France) and a doctorate in Social Anthropology from the École Normale Supérieure. She is conducting a cross-cultural study on socialization and communication between humans and great apes as a visiting researcher in the UK. His doctoral research, in Japan, focused on the relationship between humans and chimpanzees in a non-invasive cognitive science institute. This work received honorable mention at the PSL International Thesis Prize in the “Science and Humanities Interface” category. Gabriela is also the founder of Ecology of Minds, a company that helps researchers increase their impact through academic branding.
