Indira Béraud holds a degree in Art History from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a master's degree in Culture, Criticism and Curation from Central Saint Martins School in London. She is a doctoral student at UQAM in Arts Studies and Practices and at EHESS in Arts and Languages. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Anthropology of Life team at the Social Anthropology Laboratory (LAS). She is the editor-in-chief of the journal figure which she founded in 2017; she also writes for other magazines (art press, Flash Art…). At the same time, she is developing a practice as an exhibition curator (CEA member) and works in particular on the future of living things and the notion of progress. She has organized exhibitions in Paris, Saint-Denis, Lille and Budapest.
