Camille Bellet is a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow in Humanities and Social Science at the Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of Manchester, UK. She has a background in veterinary medicine and a doctorate in epidemiology and specialises in public health and human-farmed animal relations. Camille is currently developing her research in animal health care and digital sensing in cattle farming in France and the United Kingdom, looking at how different digital sensor technologies, such as collars, bracelets and cameras, are emerging, are shaped and impact on how we understand and care for the lives of cows on farm, their health and wellbeing.
