Cyrille Jeancolas is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Philosophy at Durham University. His research brings together epistemological and anthropological approaches on the practices of scientists with regard to the origin of life and its research in the Universe (exobiology). A graduate engineer from AgroParisTech, he carried out his doctorate jointly at the biophysics and evolution laboratory of ESPCI Paris and at the social anthropology laboratory of the Collège de France.
